It Begins Here,
Always.
Let
The first step be the one
That leads you deep
Into the moment of
Surprise.
Be
The Tinder, dry and ready,
To ignite with each
Encounter’s
Flintstone Spark.
It Begins Here;
This first, inconspicuous step
Will write
Your Course
Through Time.
It Begins Here.
Always.
Even the greatest Leap must start somewhere, or not start at all.
The first step always begins with one of two feet moving from exactly where they are, and even the smallest step carries within it, like a seed, the trajectory of where it may ultimately lead, until its course is altered.
How we take each step shapes the flavor of our journey; do we insist on sitting and waiting, clinging to the security of the known, the tried and true and tested, or do we dare to brave the unknown, to approach each foray as a rendezvous with surprise and possibility?
Do we gather our supplies and charted maps as though we knew exactly what we might need or meet along the way, or do we find fuel and inspiration on the go, in unsuspected encounters and new perspectives gained?
Whatever our approach - the journey begins right where we are at. Not tomorrow. Not when we believe we might be ready. Not once we have progressed to ‘there’. But right now, and right here, with each and every choice we make or don’t make.
It begins right here.
Always.
